Recently, Silicon India, a popular media outlet, got a chance to get intimate with Ritesh Saxenna, the Chairman and Managing Director of Digital Ideaz Private Limited. The interview provided an up-close glimpse of the entrepreneurial journey he undertook starting from the beginning. In the end, Ritesh gave insightful tips to the future entrepreneurs.
After finishing his B.Tech, when Personal computers were just beginning to penetrate into the Indian households, He got the opportunity to teach computers to a film personality. Interestingly, that figure also became his first client. Ritesh was handed the responsibility to launch his personal website. The launch was successful but he had to, as he says, swim through knee deep waters to collect his first payment.
In the meanwhile he took a marketing job which he ultimately dropped, in order to start his own venture. Even in the midst of a financial crunch, he did not give in and looked for opportunities relentlessly.
When asked what motivates and drives him to work, he mentions honesty, serenity and a glass of wine.
The interview concluded with Ritesh giving tips to fellow entrepreneurs. His advice, “Be genuine, be yourself”

RITESH SAXENA
Ritesh Saxena belongs to a renowned family of advocates from Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He did his basic schooling from Methodist English School (a convent School run by Anglo-Indian community).
Today he is the Chairman and Managing Director at ‘Digital Ideaz (P) Ltd.’ Based at Chandigarh. Still passionate of professional writing he spends a substantial time for it. He is an avid reader too.
